About this product

SOP-based NPK

SOP-based NPK is a granular compound fertiliser whose potassium is supplied as sulphate of potash rather than chloride, holding chloride below 2% while also delivering sulphur. Each granule carries nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium together, so every part of the field receives the same balanced ratio. It suits chloride-sensitive crops such as potatoes, grapevines, tomatoes, tobacco and berries, where chlorine can cut growth and quality. Apply as a base dressing before sowing or planting, adjusting the rate to soil analysis and crop demand.

Questions & answers

What farmers ask most

  • Rates depend on crop, prior history, soil-analysis results, and current soil nutrient status. A typical NPK complex on cereals is 150–300 kg/ha. Use the /calculators/npk tool or consult an agronomist for an exact dose.
