  • Strain RL 45 — more active nitrogen fixation, per the maker
  • Nodules in the main root zone — per the maker
  • Advance inoculation 15 days before sowing — per the maker

Overview

About this product

BINITRO Pea — a dry nitrogen-fixing inoculant on nodule bacteria Rhizobium leguminosarum strain RL 45 with a titre of at least 3 × 10⁹ CFU/g and their metabolic products. The rate on pea, field beans and vetch is 2 kg/t, on lentil 2.5–3 kg/t.

Seed is treated mechanically or by hand, no earlier than 15 days before sowing. Per the maker, nodules form in the main root zone.

Micronutrient fertilizers high in molybdenum and cobalt kill nodule bacteria. Zip-Lock bag 1 kg, shelf life 12 months at +2…+6 °C.

What farmers ask most

  • Rates depend on crop, prior history, soil analysis and nutrient status. An agronomist sets the dose from this product's label — not an NPK-complex template of 150–300 kg/ha.
