Overview

About this product

EKOLAIN Zinc (MAX Chelate) — a highly concentrated zinc chelate complex: Zn 10.0% in 100% chelated form and amide nitrogen (NH2) 4.5%. It is intended for fast correction of zinc deficiency in maize, millet, sorghum, grain legumes, sunflower, winter cereals, pome fruit and vegetables.

Per the maker, it is compatible with most common crop protection products, but a compatibility test of the working solution is recommended; before sowing it can be added to the liquid starter fertilizers FITOSTART at up to 2.0 l/ha. Doses by stage range from 0.3–0.5 l/ha on winter cereals in autumn to 0.4–1.5 l/ha on tomatoes and pepper.

Questions & answers

What farmers ask most

  • Rates depend on crop, prior history and soil analysis. Urea and other straight nitrogen grades are not an NPK complex: a cereal ballpark is often 100–250 kg/ha of product, but the exact dose is an agronomist's call.
