Overview
About this product
EKOLAIN Iron (Chelate) — highly concentrated chelated fertilizer for foliar feeding and correcting iron deficiency. It contains iron 6.0% as 100% EDTA chelate and amide nitrogen (NH2) 1.5%.
Per the maker, it improves photosynthesis and corrects chlorosis; iron deficiency occurs most often in the steppe on chernozem, carbonate and chestnut soils, and in fruit crops on carbonate and over-limed soils. Doses 0.5–2.0 l/ha: maize, sunflower, sugar beet, soybean, winter oilseed rape, fruit, berry and vegetable crops, grapes.
Acidic solution, pH 1.0–3.0. Supplied to pre-order.

Questions & answers
What farmers ask most
- Rates depend on crop, prior history and soil analysis. Urea and other straight nitrogen grades are not an NPK complex: a cereal ballpark is often 100–250 kg/ha of product, but the exact dose is an agronomist's call.
