About this product
EKOLAIN Complex Magnesium (Chelates) — micronutrient fertilizer in which magnesium and other elements are given as 100% EDTA chelate. It contains MgO 4.6%, SO3 9.0%, amide nitrogen (NH2) 2.5%, as well as Fe, Mn, Zn, Cu and boron.
Per the maker, magnesium from the chelated form is absorbed faster than from salts, and the fertilizer improves root system function, phosphorus uptake and cold resistance. Doses range from 1.0–1.5 l/ha on melon crops to 1.0–4.0 l/ha on cereals; also maize, sugar beet, oilseed rape, potatoes, vegetable and fruit crops.

- Rates depend on crop, prior history and soil analysis. Urea and other straight nitrogen grades are not an NPK complex: a cereal ballpark is often 100–250 kg/ha of product, but the exact dose is an agronomist's call.
