This granular nutrient complex feeds blueberries and other acidophilic crops with 21% nitrogen and 24% sulfur. The sulfur content supports the acidic soil conditions these plants require while nitrogen drives shoot growth, leaf development and ovary formation. It is applied dry in the root zone at 20-30 grams per bush, starting in early spring during bud swelling and repeated in May and June. Its effect lasts 30-40 days from application, suiting both new and established plantings on moist, loosened soil.
