Dominator combines genetic resistance to phoma based on the new gene Rlm S with resistance to turnip yellows virus (TuYV), and high field tolerance to verticillium wilt. The maker states an exemplary response to growth regulators, a low tendency of the growing point to elongate in autumn and fast ground cover, which makes the hybrid flexible in sowing dates.
In spring the stem develops moderately, which lowers the risk of damage from late frosts. The seed has a high oil content, and pods and stems ripen synchronously.
