ДКС 3796 — середньоранній гібрид кукурудзи Dekalb із ФАО 270, придатний для зернового та силосного використання. Він поєднує добру посухо- та холодостійкість (по 8/9) з початковою енергією росту та стійкістю до фузаріозу стебла й качана на рівні 9/9, а також хорошу вологовіддачу при збиранні. Рекомендований для зон достатнього та нестійкого зволоження, росте на більшості типів ґрунтів, крім важких глинистих і піщаних, потребує високого рівня мінерального живлення, витримує монокультуру та тривалий перестій перед збиранням.
