DKC 5148 — a late-maturing maize hybrid from Dekalb (FAO 410) with a dent grain type for grain use in all growing zones of Ukraine. It combines high drought resistance and cold resistance with rapid moisture release, a strong root system and a strong stem. Stable and plastic both under rainfed conditions and under irrigation, suitable for all soil types at medium and high nutrition levels, it withstands monoculture and prolonged standing in the field and is suited to traditional and minimum tillage, strip-till and No-till.
