Літерон — ґрунтовий досходовий гербіцид у формі концентрату емульсії (КЕ) із вмістом S-метолахлору 960 г/л, що належить до хімічної групи хлорацетамідів (HRAC 15). Він контролює однорічні злакові та деякі дводольні бур'яни у просапних культурах, таких як соняшник, кукурудза, соя та цукровий буряк. Препарат вносять у ґрунт до появи сходів культури й бур'янів; діюча речовина поглинається коренями проростків, зупиняє поділ клітин і забезпечує тривалий захисний період.
