HM8 — a beam-type strain-gauge load cell working in shear.
The beam type of load cell is used for the manufacture of platform scales and weighing systems. It has established itself as one of the mass-produced designs used in industrial weighing. Thanks to its low profile and high metrological characteristics, this type of load cell is widely used in many industrial weighing systems.
The body is made of nickel-plated steel with the use of laser welding, the protection class of the load cell is IP68 (complete dust and moisture protection).
