Cycogan is a systemic plant growth regulator based on chlormequat chloride (720 g/L), formulated as a soluble concentrate. Used on winter and spring wheat and barley, it inhibits gibberellin biosynthesis to shorten and strengthen stems, preventing lodging while supporting disease resistance and more even ripening. Spray once from tillering to the start of stem elongation at 1.0–2.0 L/ha, adjusting the rate to the variety's lodging tendency.
