About this product
CRC universal aerosol 2-26
CRC 2-26 is a multi-purpose lubricant that prevents failure of electrical equipment caused by water ingress, humidity, condensation or corrosion. A stable formula with low surface tension and high penetrating action provides excellent penetrating and dispersing ability.
Properties
Specifications: NSN 6850-00-874-5847.Protects against corrosion by displacing moisture. Can be used on all metals and alloys.Helps to restore electrical equipment damaged by moisture.Cleans, lubricates, protects, penetrates and weakens the action of corrosion.Restores resistance values by reducing leakage current.Provides precision lubrication by means of a thin but highly dielectric lubricating film.Does not harm modern plastics, painted surfaces, coatings and rubber products.Frees parts that have rusted or seized by penetrating under dirt, scale and mill scale into fine pores and cracks. The cans are fitted with a double valve and an extension tube for ease of use.The aerosols are pressurised with non-flammable СО2 propellant, which makes it possible to fill up to 97% of the can volume with useful product (that is, 30% more than when using conventional hydrocarbon propellants).
