Main advantages
About this product
CORMORAN — a combined ADAMA insecticide in the form of an emulsifiable concentrate (EC) that combines two active substances: acetamiprid (80 g/l), a systemic neonicotinoid, and novaluron (100 g/l), a contact insect growth regulator from the benzamide group. It controls pests at all stages of development — from egg to adult — on potato, vegetable and fruit crops, in particular the Colorado potato beetle, aphids, thrips, the onion fly, the codling moth and the apple blossom weevil. It is applied during the growing season at the first signs of the appearance of pests.

Chemistry & regulatory profile
Active ingredients
Contact-systemic dual action: acetamiprid, a systemic neonicotinoid, over-stimulates the insect nicotinic acetylcholine receptor for rapid knockdown, while novaluron, a contact benzoylurea, inhibits chitin synthesis and acts as an insect growth regulator, blocking egg hatch and larval development.
