The AXION 940 is a CLAAS wheeled tractor from the AXION 950-920 series with a six-cylinder FPT engine of 8.7 litres. The CMATIC stepless transmission lets heavy implements be pulled without gear shifts.
The hydraulics are controlled by electronic valve units, and the rear linkage is rated for heavy mounted implements. Large-diameter rear tyres can be fitted, which suits drawbar work.
