Main advantages
About this product
Challenge is a soil-applied herbicide containing aclonifen 600 g/L, formulated as a suspension concentrate. It controls broadleaf weeds and some annual grasses in sunflower, carrot, onion and potato, including triazine-resistant species such as fat-hen, knotweed and amaranth. Aclonifen is absorbed through the shoots of germinating weeds and inhibits pigment synthesis, bleaching young plants until they die. Apply pre-emergence to the soil surface after sowing, or early post-emergence on onion, without incorporation.
