Castrol Transmax Axle Long Life 75W-90 - a fully synthetic transmission oil for rear axles, developed using Smooth Drive Technology. Provides excellent protection against wear, especially when driving in "stop-start" mode or under extreme operating conditions, for example when towing other vehicles or a trailer. Contributes to trouble-free operation of the unit and to a reduction of gear noise, creating comfortable conditions for driving the vehicle throughout the whole of its service life.

Application:

Specially developed and approved by BMW for use in all final drives equipped with conventional (non-limited-slip) differentials. This is the main recommended Castrol product for the final drives of commercial vehicles of high load capacity, approved by MAN, Scania and ZF. Advantages:

Balanced viscometric and frictional characteristics provide fuel economy and a reduction of exhaust gas emissions;Exceptional low-temperature fluidity provides optimal protection of the parts at the start of the unit's operation under all conditions;Excellent thermal stability and resistance to oxidation keep the parts of the final drive and the differential clean, make it possible to extend the service life of the oil and to reduce the time spent on servicing the machinery;Optimal anti-wear and extreme-pressure characteristics at all ambient temperatures and load conditions;Effective removal of heat from the friction pairs and shear resistance increase the efficiency of the final drive's operation and increase the service life of its parts.
