Caribou

Caribou — a systemic post-emergence herbicide for sugar beet in the form of water-soluble granules containing triflusulfuron-methyl 500 g/kg, a sulfonylurea that inhibits the ALS enzyme. It controls problem dicotyledonous weeds: amaranth species, knotweeds, black nightshade, cleavers and weeds of the brassica family. It is applied at 30 g/ha together with the surfactant Trend 90 from the cotyledon stage to the two leaf stage of the weeds, repeating 2–3 times at an interval of 7–10 days.
