Calypso

Calypso — a systemic insecticide based on thiacloprid (480 g/l) in the form of a suspension concentrate. A neonicotinoid of contact and stomach action, it controls a broad spectrum of chewing and sucking pests — in particular the Colorado potato beetle, aphids, thrips, weevils, codling moth and cherry fruit fly — on apple, potato, rapeseed, sour cherry, sweet cherry and strawberry. It is applied by spraying at a rate of 0,1–0,35 l/ha during pest activity; the product is resistant to being washed off by rain and, thanks to its safety for bees, can be used during flowering.
