Callisto 480 SC

Callisto 480 SC — a post-emergence herbicide in the form of a suspension concentrate containing 480 g/l of the triketone active substance mesotrione, an HPPD inhibitor. The product controls annual and certain perennial dicotyledonous weeds on maize and poppy, in particular biotypes resistant to sulfonylureas, such as black nightshade. It is applied by spraying at a rate of 0,2 l/ha with the obligatory addition of a surfactant: on maize at the 3–8 leaf stage, on poppy — at the 2–4 leaf stage. The soil action holds back subsequent waves of weeds.
