Overview

About this product

ECOSTERN Light SC — a soil probiotic for better nitrogen nutrition and soil water-holding capacity. It contains bacteria that release a lot of capsule slime, a high-molecular polysaccharide, from the genera Azotobacter, Agrobacterium, Enterobacter and Paenibacillus polymyxa, as well as bacteria of the genus Bacillus and fungi of the genus Trichoderma; titre at least 1.0 × 10⁹ CFU/ml.

It holds moisture on the surface of plant residues and in the topsoil, neutralises the phytotoxicity of residues and decomposes them. The maker advises applying it in summer and early autumn; stored for 12 months at 2–6 °C.
