Bi Pond
Bi Pond is a biological care product for ponds and ornamental water bodies, including fish ponds. Its decomposer microorganisms, Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus megaterium, Nitrobacter and Nitrosomonas, work with enzymes to take up the soluble nitrogen and phosphorus that feed microalgae and, with sufficient aeration, support self-cleaning of the water. Organic residues, silt, fallen leaves and fish and bird waste break down without putrefaction. It is applied from spring to autumn while the water stays above +12 °C; manufacturer: Biotech Active.
Application
Rates, windows, expected results
- Application rate
- Start — 3 ml per 1 m³ of water; monthly prevention — 1 ml per 1 m³ (1 cap holds about 25 ml)
- Window
- From spring, when the water temperature rises above +12 °C, until autumn, when it falls below +12 °C. Dilute in water taken from the pond and apply as evenly as possible or at a point of aeration, inflow or water movement.
