Basafer

Basafer — a micronutrient fertilizer containing chelated iron in the ortho-ortho Fe-EDDHA form (3,5%) in fully water-soluble microgranules. Iron corrects and prevents lime-induced chlorosis — the yellowing of young leaves — on alkaline soils with a high pH, where iron becomes unavailable to plants. The EDDHA chelate remains stable up to pH 10, keeping iron available for uptake by the roots. It is applied to the soil or through fertigation and drip irrigation systems; it is suitable for fruit trees, grapes, citrus, berry and vegetable crops on calcareous soils.
