About this product

Bardahl additive B1 Oil Treatment

The BARDAHL B1 anti-friction additive is developed using the unique Polar Plas technology. This formula provides a double level of protection thanks to the addition of a layer of polar-charged molecules that adhere tightly to all engine surfaces, increasing the protective function.

The «Polar attraction» effect of Bardahl B1 is achieved thanks to the perfect balance of the anti-wear, anti-friction, anti-oxidation and detergent components, as well as the polar organic compounds that make up Bardahl B1. The additive creates a durable molecular film on all frictions of surfaces, which causes thermal load. It prevents deposits from forming, reduces wear of parts at cold engine start and throughout the whole service period between oil changes, which makes it possible to raise considerably the reliability and efficiency of the lubrication system and of the engine as a whole and, as a consequence, to extend the interval between overhauls. It reduces friction, thereby lowering fuel consumption and operating costs. It does not change the viscosity grade of the motor oil.

Application:

Top up the Bardahl B1 additive into a warmed-up engine with fresh oil at every oil change; After pouring in the additive, let the engine run at idle for 5-10 minutes so that the additive mixes fully with the oil;One can is enough for lubrication systems with a volume of up to 3.5 litres.

  • Match the API/ACEA classifications shown in the specs against your engine manufacturer's recommendation (in the service manual). Tier 4 Final diesels require low-SAPS or mid-SAPS oils — this is always called out in the name.
