About this product
Bacitoxin — a biological insecticide based on spores of Bacillus thuringiensis var. kurstaki (titre not less than 10^9 CFU/g) in the form of a water-soluble powder. It controls the leaf-eating caterpillars of lepidopteran pests — cutworms, diamondback moth and cabbage white, beet webworm, codling moth and box tree moth — on cereal, legume, industrial and vegetable crops of the open ground and on fruit trees (apple, pear, sour cherry). It is applied by spraying during the growing season at a rate of 2-6 kg/ha; the product acts through the gut, stopping feeding within a few hours and causing the death of the caterpillars within a few days.
