About this product
Avido
Avido is a three-component fungicidal seed treatment in a flowable concentrate (FS) formulation based on thiophanate-methyl, kresoxim-methyl and cymoxanil. Intended for the treatment of soybean and pea seed, it controls root rots, downy mildew, anthracnose, ascochyta blight, sclerotinia and seed mould. Thiophanate-methyl blocks the division of the fungal cells, cymoxanil disrupts the metabolism of the pathogen, and kresoxim-methyl adds translaminar protection and stimulates germination. It is applied on seed-treating machines at a rate of 6-8 l of working solution per tonne of seed before sowing, without affecting the nodule bacteria.
