About this product

Asami

Asami is a systemic suspension-concentrate (SC) herbicide containing 500 g/L metazachlor, a chloroacetamide active. It controls annual broadleaf and grass weeds in winter and spring rapeseed, including chickweed, speedwell, barnyardgrass, foxtail and pigweed. Absorbed through the hypocotyl and roots of germinating weeds, it inhibits very-long-chain fatty acid synthesis and halts root development. Apply as a single spray at 1.6 L/ha after sowing, before or after crop emergence, targeting early weed growth stages.
