About this product
Applaud 25 SC
Applaud 25 SC is a suspension-concentrate insecticide built on buprofezin at 250 g/L, an insect growth regulator that inhibits chitin synthesis. It acts by contact and through vapour-phase redistribution, killing larvae at moulting and reducing the viability of the next generation's eggs. It controls whitefly on greenhouse cucumber and tomato and San Jose scale on apple. Spray at pest emergence, repeating on apple during the growing season; it does not harm the entomophage Encarsia formosa.
