- Stronger tissues — less lodging, per the maker
- 0.5–1.0 l/ha 1–3 times — per growing season
Overview
About this product
Controlphyt SI — a solution for foliar feeding during the growing season that prevents and corrects silicon deficiency. It contains silicon (SiO) 17.0% and potassium (K2O) 7.0%, pH 11–12.
Cereals, vegetables, fruit and berry crops, grapes and rice are sprayed 1–3 times per growing season at a dose of 0.5–1.0 l/ha, solution volume 100–300 l/ha, once the leaf surface is sufficiently developed. Per the maker, the product increases the silicon concentration, reducing leaf transpiration, and raises tissue elasticity and strength, which counteracts lodging.
Packed in 1, 5, 20 and 200 l.

Questions & answers
What farmers ask most
- Rates depend on crop, prior history and soil analysis. This is a straight fertiliser, not an NPK complex at 150–300 kg/ha. An agronomist sets the dose from nutrient offtake.
