RFQ

Also known as: Request for Quote

Full explanation

RFQ (Request for Quotation) is a fundamental wholesale procurement tool that lets a buyer receive competitive quotes from multiple suppliers simultaneously. On ADAM, an RFQ is automatically sent to 3–5 verified suppliers in the selected category and region, with average quote return in 6–8 hours. The buyer compares prices, delivery times, and payment terms, then picks the best offer. Average savings versus direct distributor purchases run 4–8%.
