About the brand
Massey Ferguson was formed in 1953 through the merger of Canadian Massey-Harris and British Harry Ferguson Company. The brand is known for the revolutionary hydraulic three-point hitch that Harry Ferguson patented in 1926 — technology still used on every modern tractor. In 1991, Massey Ferguson was acquired by AGCO Corporation along with Fendt, Valtra, and Challenger. Today within the AGCO group, MF is the mid-premium brand: higher quality than Case IH and New Holland in several segments, but pricing 10-15% below Fendt from the same group. Globally MF sells in 170+ countries with particular strength in France, UK, Brazil, and Africa. European production at Beauvais (France). Technology line: Dyna-VT transmission (stepless CVT, Fendt Vario equivalent), Visio cab with 360-degree visibility, AGCO Connect telematics.

Presence in Ukraine
Massey Ferguson has been in Ukraine since 2004 through the AGCO dealer network — shared infrastructure with Fendt, Valtra, and Challenger. Official service centers in Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, and Poltava — 4 centers, a smaller network than John Deere (11) and Case IH (8). MF's share of the Ukrainian tractor market is about 4%, with the most activity in the 95-250 hp mid-segment and in niche categories (front loaders, telehandlers). Top 2026 Ukrainian models: Massey Ferguson 5710 (100 hp, ~2.2 million UAH), 7718 (175 hp, ~3.8M), 7724 (230 hp, ~4.8M). On ADAM in April 2026, MF spare parts are quoted by 2-3 distributors with an average 5-10 day delivery from France for standard items. The brand has a loyal buyer base especially in Western Ukraine and the Carpathian region thanks to proximity to European production and MF familiarity among farmers from the Polish and Slovak border areas.
