This is factory-treated seed of the SY Chorintos MQ corn hybrid, coated with two Syngenta seed-applied protectants. Force Zea supplies the pyrethroid insecticide tefluthrin against soil-dwelling pests such as wireworms, while Vibrance supplies the SDHI fungicide sedaxane against seed- and soil-borne diseases including Rhizoctonia. The flowable treatments are applied to the seed before supply, so the crop is protected from sowing through germination and early root growth for a more even, vigorous stand.
