About this product
Drill & Drop™ is a fully encapsulated soil probe that measures soil moisture and temperature, with salinity as an option, through sensors along its 30 to 120 cm length. Its tapered shape lets it go into a drilled hole without disturbing the soil or using slurry, so it reads the true soil profile.
It can be buried completely, out of reach of machinery, and left for years or installed briefly, for example in vegetables. The sensors are pre-normalised with built-in calibration, and profile data is viewed in IrriMAX Live™.
