Florasun is a single-cross mid-early sunflower hybrid for Clearfield® technology, resistant to IMI herbicides and to broomrape races A–F. The maker gives two values for the growing season: 117 days and 112–115 days.
Oil content is 50–52%, 1000-seed weight 56–58 g, and the head is convex, tilted downward and 18–20 cm in diameter. The maker rates lodging resistance as outstanding and states excellent plant health.
