Overview
About this product
Feroe is a new winter grain pea variety intended for autumn sowing. The maker writes of above-average grain and protein yield combined with good plant health and very good frost hardiness.
A taller stand (score 5 on the German BSA scale) with good lodging resistance (BSA score 4) allows the peas to be harvested reliably with ordinary cereal machinery. The variety is resistant to the bacterial disease caused by Pseudomonas, which in some years is a major problem.
