Overview

About this product

The maker NPZ calls Cromat a vigorous standard for growing on clubroot-infested fields: BSA scores of 8 and 8 for seed and oil yield are the highest in the German clubroot variety list of 2024. Resistance to TuYV virus and to phoma (gene Rlm7), per the maker, explains the high yields of 2022 and 2023.

Flowering is very early, the plants are compact and resist lodging, and stand height is about 140 cm. In spring NPZ recommends very early and heavier top-dressing: in its own trial the maximum of 45.7 dt/ha was reached only with the full nitrogen rate.
