About this product
994 is a McHale round bale splitter supplied for the three-point linkage that can also be fitted to a tractor loader or an industrial handler. One double-acting ram drives a specially shaped knife: with the knife raised, the tines spike the bale and carry it from the stack to the feeding area.
One cut splits the bale in the feed-out area or into a feeder wagon, and the tines then move or push the sections into place. It handles silage, hay and straw bales as well as green chop.
