Overview
About this product
The Cosmix is a concentrate feeding station that gives each cow a portion matched to her individual needs. On entry, the cow is identified by her tag and concentrate is dispensed in small portions according to the allocation calculated in Lely Horizon, while actual intake is recorded.
The station supplements cows needing more concentrate than they receive in the Lely Astronaut milking robot, and also serves heifers and dry cows. The Cosmix P has a protection gate that closes while the cow feeds, and the Cosmix S has none.
