About the brand
EuroChem Group was founded in 2001 in Switzerland and today is one of the world's largest integrated mineral fertilizer producers, with roughly 5% of the global NPK market. Headquartered in Zug, EuroChem operates production facilities in Russia, Lithuania, Belgium, and other countries. Its strong position in phosphate and compound NPK fertilizers is driven by control over major apatite and phosphate rock deposits. The core lineup includes NPK compounds in various ratios (the best-known is 10-26-26 for base dressing), urea, ammonium nitrate, and the specialty stabilized AmmoMax range. EuroChem is known for vertical integration — from raw material extraction to finished product — which lets it hold lower prices in the phosphate segment. The group also invests in low-carbon ammonia synthesis and nitrogen stabilizer technology.

Presence in Ukraine
EuroChem has been active in the Ukrainian market since 2005 through a distributor network and direct sales to large agribusinesses. The main import channels run through the Black Sea ports (Odesa, Pivdennyi) and Baltic terminals. As of April 2026, ADAM lists 3–5 EuroChem distributors per category, with the strongest position in the compound NPK segment. The most-requested product is NPK 10-26-26, used as a base dressing under winter wheat and sunflower in the Forest-Steppe and Steppe. EuroChem is also growing the stabilized-nitrogen AmmoMax segment, which reduces volatilization losses. The average price of EuroChem NPK 10-26-26 in April 2026 is 26,800–28,400 UAH/t ex-warehouse in Ukraine — 4–6% cheaper than comparable Yara product. The EuroChem range is narrower, especially in micronutrients.
