Contact Cleaner – a special cleaning product for the fast cleaning and degreasing of dirty, rusted electrical contacts of all types.

Ideal for:

Cleaning of electrical units and contacts, electronic boards and terminal blocks, lamp bases, cable harnesses, communication relays, ignition distributor breakers, starters, alternators, fuses and so on.;Plug sockets, clamps, electrical distribution devices, battery contacts in industry and in the home;Audio and video equipment, office and retail electrical equipment - cash registers, electronic scales, scanners and so on. ‎ Properties:

Quickly, effectively and gently cleans electrical contacts and connectors, and also electronic components, of grease and oil films, oxides, phosphates, dust and other insulating contamination. Reduces the electrical resistance of the contacts and thereby reduces the power losses of the electrical equipment and stabilises the voltage;Displaces moisture, forms a water-repellent film;Evaporates quickly leaving no traces and ruling out current leakage and short circuits;Provides long-lasting protection of the electrical contacts against oxidation, preserving their conductivity;Thanks to its high penetrating ability it improves the operating efficiency and the reliability of electronic systems and electrical equipment, preventing faults and failures;Contains no silicone, is safe for plastic and rubber parts and also for paint coatings;Can be used for degreasing metal surfaces. Application:

Before cleaning, de-energise the electrical circuits;Spray MANNOL Contact Cleaner onto the contamination and leave it to act for 5-10 minutes depending on the intensity of the contamination;Remove the dissolved contamination with a cloth or a brush;Remove the excess of the compound with a damp cloth;If it gets onto the surface of plastic and varnished parts, remove the compound with a damp cloth as well;Before connecting to the electrical circuit, wait 10 minutes for the solvent residues to evaporate.
