The generator is built on a four-stroke Hyundai diesel engine that has an optimal ratio of size to power. With relatively small dimensions the Hyundai DHY8000SE generator is able to deliver a rated power of 6.0 kW, which is enough to handle typical working tasks. The large fuel tank (17 l) provides continuous operation for 16 hours, which is considerably more than the figures of most diesel generators of a similar class. The fuel level is easy to monitor thanks to the built-in indicator.The Hyundai DHY8000SE is equipped with an electric starting system, which considerably eases its use. The control panel is simple and clear and makes it possible to monitor the main operating parameters of the power station. As an additional option an automatic control unit can be installed in the Hyundai DHY8000SE generator - when the mains supply is cut off the system will start it by itself, and if the electricity supply is restored it will stop its operation.The Hyundai DHY8000SE diesel generator has an AVR regulator, which makes it possible to connect to it devices or equipment sensitive to voltage fluctuations. Like many Hyundai diesel units, this configuration is able to produce alternating and direct current, and the charging leads make it possible to connect an external battery to it. The generators of this series are assembled on a double reinforced frame with vibration protection in the form of special shock absorbers. The sound-absorbing enclosure considerably reduces the noise level during operation.
