ДКС 5148 — пізньостиглий гібрид кукурудзи Dekalb (ФАО 410) із зубовидним типом зерна для зернового використання в усіх зонах вирощування України. Поєднує високу посухостійкість і холодостійкість зі швидкою вологовіддачею, сильною кореневою системою та міцним стеблом. Стабільний і пластичний як у богарних умовах, так і на зрошенні, придатний для всіх типів ґрунтів за середнього та високого рівня живлення, витримує монокультуру й тривалий перестій, підходить для традиційного, мінімального обробітку, стрип-тілл і No-till.
