Use: Spare part for the gathering chain of Geringhoff corn headers.
Purpose: Operation as part of the drawing-in gathering chain as the load-bearing part for mounting the elements of the tensioner. Used to replace worn or damaged parts in the course of repair and refurbishment work.
Properties: A welded steel item of complex three-dimensional shape in the form of a section of pipe with a seat for fitting the spring and with a welded-on bracket for fitting the gathering-chain sprocket. Part of the surface of the part is painted to prevent atmospheric effects.
