CRC OXIDE CLEAN & PROTECT PRO is a contact cleaning oil used to restore corroded electrical contacts. Besides the components that dissolve corrosion products, the aerosol contains a mixture of solvents which also remove dirt and resinified oils and greases. In fact the problems that arise with electrical contacts are caused not only by corrosion but also by fuel contamination, which forms a coating of low electrical conductivity on the contact surfaces.
