How ADAM collects, uses, and protects personal data of farmers, vendors, and site visitors. Compliant with GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and Ukrainian Law on Personal Data Protection (No. 2297-VI).
1. Data controller
ADAM UA (the operator of adam.ua) is the data controller for personal data collected on this site.

2. What data we collect
Account data — name, email, phone, oblast, farm size — when you register as a farmer or vendor.
Usage data — pages viewed, search queries, time spent, device + browser metadata.
Communication data — emails, support tickets, vendor-farmer chat threads stored as platform audit trail.
Order data — quote requests, vendor offers, accepted orders, payment metadata (no card numbers; payments via LiqPay/Wayforpay).
3. Why we collect it
Operate the marketplace (matching farmers with verified vendors, processing quote requests, fulfilling orders).
Comply with Ukrainian tax + escrow + dispute resolution requirements.
Improve the platform — analytics, AI agronomist training (anonymized only).
Marketing — newsletter only with explicit opt-in consent.
4. Legal basis (GDPR Art. 6)
Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b)) — for account, order, and platform functionality.
Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) — Ukrainian tax, escrow, anti-money-laundering reporting.
Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) — fraud detection, platform abuse prevention, basic analytics.
Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — newsletter, optional marketing communications, AI training data.
5. Your rights
Under GDPR + Ukrainian Law 2297-VI you have the right to: access your data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion, restrict processing, data portability, object to processing, and withdraw consent.
Submit requests to info@adam.ua. We respond within 30 days as required by Ukrainian law.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights (ombudsman.gov.ua).
6. Data retention
Account data: kept while the account is active, plus 3 years after closure (Ukrainian commercial law).
Order + payment data: 7 years (Ukrainian tax law).
Marketing consent: until withdrawn.
Server logs: 90 days, then auto-purged.
7. Security
Data encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3).
Hosted on Vercel (Frankfurt region) + Supabase (EU region) with RLS-enforced row-level access.
Personal data never leaves EU/UA jurisdictions for processing.
