Castrol brake fluid DOT 4

Castrol Brake Fluid DOT4 - a synthetic brake fluid created on the basis of glycol ethers and borate esters in order to achieve high boiling-point values of the pure product and when saturated with moisture.

Advantages

The product consists of a mixture of polyalkylene glycol ethers and borate esters in combination with highly effective additives and inhibitors, which provide excellent protection of the brake system against corrosion and against the formation of vapour locks at high temperature.  The composition of this fluid is developed so that its boiling point reaches much higher values in comparison with traditional brake fluids based on glycol ethers throughout the period of use of the product.  Meets the requirements of the standards SAE J1703, SAE J1704, FMVSS 116 DOT 4, ISO 4925, JIS K 2233. Castrol Brake Fluid DOT 4 is fully compatible with other fluids corresponding to the FMVSS 116 DOT 3 and DOT 4 specifications. However, in order to preserve the exceptional performance characteristics of this product, avoid mixing with other brake fluids.
