Mechanism: MSO dissolves the leaf's cuticular waxes, creating channels for lipophilic actives (strobilurins, pyrethroids, triazoles). 2–5× more effective than non-ionic surfactants for oil-soluble products. Standard rate 0.5–1.0 L/ha (0.5–1% of working solution). Price April 2026: UAH 150–280/L. Mandatory partner for: (1) Axial (pinoxaden) on winter wheat — without MSO efficacy drops 40%; (2) Caliban Top (imazamox) in Clearfield sunflower; (3) Euro-Lightning; (4) Pallas (halosulfuron) on maize. Avoid at high temperatures (>25°C) — phytotoxicity risk (leaf burn on winter wheat at stem elongation). Compatible with most insecticides and fungicides.
